TITAN LEARNING COMMONS
The Library/Titans Learning Commons (TLC) has some exciting opportunities in store for your child this year:
  • Our curriculum will be promoting the very best of children's literature to your child with activities designed to help students enjoy the stories even more. Reading clubs are offered in both panels.
  • We will be doing our very best to get (or keep) your children "hooked on reading" by recommending specific reading materials to each individual.
  • At each grade level, students will be learning research and computer skills. Databases to which the Board subscribes, such as EBSCO, can be accessed at school and at home. Licensed software , including SMART Notebook, is available for your child to download. Information on accessing the databases and software is available at the TLC.
  • The iPads and netbooks are available to borrow overnight. Permission forms can be picked up at the TLC.
  • We have many special events being planned, including author visits, a read-a-thon, reading and writing contests, events and more.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, we would love to hear from you!
