Dear Parents/Guardians:
Unfortunately, due to inappropriate comments that were made in a classroom at our school yesterday afternoon, a rumour has been circulated indicating that a student made a remark about seriously harming other students. This situation has been thoroughly investigated and dealt with by our administration team. There is no threat to the students and staff at our school due to these comments made in the classroom yesterday. We have met with all who were involved in the classroom situation and will continue to provide support to ensure these types of comments are not made in the future. Because this situation was discussed on our school buses and posted on Facebook last evening, it has certainly caused undue stress to our community, for which we are very apologetic. We have responded to countless phone calls and inquiries at our school this morning and have involved our School Resource Officer.
